A Meet & Greet

Knowing that eventually we will need to list the current condo on the market, we decided to talk with a realtor. We wanted to find out based on current market data what we might be able to realistically get for the condo. In addition, we wanted to as her thoughts on some things we could do for the condo and determine if they would be good to do, not worth it, or could go either way. That would allow us to, over time, spread out any upgrade/improvement costs we might want to do.

The first, easy thing, is to replace some of the cabinet hardware. Currently, there are pulls on the drawers and knobs on the cabinets. One suggestion was to make everything matching pulls. The current style we have is fine, just need to update the knobs and make them pulls. That’s an easy one to take care of. So, I’ll be taking care of that this coming weekend.

After that, will be replacing the builder laminate counter top with a quartz and some new carpeting since this carpet is original to the condo from 2008. That one will take a bit of actual work to decide what we would want (even though ultimately it’s not for us) and balance it against cost and then find whom we want to do it and get it all scheduled.
